i draw'd and sew'd it

Finally got pictures of the kazooie plush I made! This was for my friend’s birthday where her husband had the idea of making a kazooie prop to jump out of a backpack. I decided to go all out.

The pattern took 3 weeks to draft and she stands about over a foot long/tall depending on how she’s posed.

She has no armature but the way she sits was a happy coincidence. I’m very pleased with how she came out (though the seams on the head were a little but uneven but that’s offset by the eyes i think). Her wings contain batting so they feel like blankets. She’s made entirely out of minky save for her beak and eyes.

I kept the pattern in hopes of selling it but it would still need a lot of tweaks before I could make a proper tutorial. In the meantime, I think I’d make another one for ~350 dollars in the future. Right now I have too much on my plate.
